A very intriguing and beautiful Folk Art wooden and glass 5 drawer display box. Ornately decorated with a very intriguing fantasy scene, which is named on the bottom 'Der Observare' "The Bird Man and Lord Var (sp?)". Decorated with two miniature oil paintings on either side, jaguars and feathers, and maple seed pods on the back around a seahorse frame with an almost holographic three dimensional image of an eye.

Only one key is present.

Overall, fair to good condition. Several of the pieces have become detached, including the winged beast with a mounted spearman and roses. Exhibits signs of age such as surface wear and weathering. As they are part of the description, please enlarge all photographs to better ascertain details and condition.
