The nearly indestructible UHMW (ultra molecular weight polyethylene) adapter blocks are much better that the welded tubular "blocks" weld to a steel plate and a tubular post. It is the material for jigs and wear surfaces that must survive high impact and abrasive loads all vehicle assembly plants and processing lines worldwide.

UHMWPE common trade name is "Spectra." It is often used as bullet proof vests and military helmets and high strength fishing line. It is cut with special high torque saws with special blades. It is highly abrasion resistant.

 The jacking block is assembled to a  custom lathe turned 6061-T651 billet aluminum post that fits securely into the top of the Rennstand, yet somewhat flexible to prevent marring of the jacking socket or sheet metal that it might come in contact with.

UHMWPE was chosen for its extreme high durability, not because it is easy to work but for its durability.

Additionally, it can be mounted on a hockey puck (not supplied) or a block of wood by just drilling out a 1/2 inch hole.  This allows direct jacking with any standard floor jack.

No assembly is necessary.  The jacking adapter is fully assembled and ready to use.

This sale is one custom made adapter block (sold each) marked in the main photos with a red box. No vehicle jacking sockets or Rennstand shown as a mounted example are included.
