It has several applications: With 5 batteries 1.2V AAA rechargeable (NH, Ni-MH) = 6V. (PHOTO 5) With 4 batteries 1,5V AAA (alkaline/lithium) + accessory = 6V. (PHOTO 5)
They can use any battery 1,5 V and 1,2 V AAA. but they are of good quality and power. I use a single adapter with rechargeable batteries from 1200 mAh to 1800 mAh, which is more than twice the load as the old original batteries worked longer and faster.
