Here at QuickandBig.com we are absolutely delighted to offer for sale, our unique Ford Escort Mk1, Panel Van, RS2000 Evocation.

Our fabulous van was built for a valued long standing customer of ours between 2019 and 2022. It has just come to us in part exchange. I hope our customer is not reading this, as he asked us not to add his build receipts up. Don’t tell him, but they total over £60,000! Plus the many rare original parts that were un-receipted and collected over a number of years, and the cost of the original UK registered blue 1.3l donor van (no colour changes on the V5).

It was built from the ground up, by respected Andy’s Autos and Restorations Ltd (Retro Ford Specialist), and has covered less than a thousand miles since completion. Numerous build photos accompany our Retro Ford.

All Fast Fords are appreciating rapidly in value, old Escorts are leading the way. Our example is unique, beautifully presented, is ready to show and enjoy. Its been built to provide a modern driving experience, benefiting from a upgraded 2.0l Pinto running throttle bodies (over 140 bhp / 190Nm), starts first time, ticks over beautifully, pulls well, it should, its torque curve is a thing a beauty, (rock solid at 190Nm from 2500-5250 rpm), Omex ECU, 5 speed gear box, Hi Spec brakes and even remote central locking / immobiliser! It is a very, very cool Van.

Those of us, of a certain age will remember early Escorts fondly (my Dad had an Mk 1 estate, when I was born in the early 70’s), here’s your chance to own one, that will draw a crowd where ever it goes. People will certainly hear it coming, with its custom stainless exhaust (it pops on the overrun) and when it arrives it won’t disappoint.

Our Olympic Blue Escort is accompanied by a fascinating file of receipts and even comes with an original owners manual and dealer brochure.

RUW33L is 51 years young, and was registered in February 1973. Its registered as a Historic Vehicle and is as such, road tax, MOT and ULEZ exempt. Our RS2000 evocation is showing an indicated mileage of 77,021.
