This bushing insert solves the issue of delayed on-throttle response and chop or vibration during gear changes, particularly when starting off from a stop. Also serves as an alternative to poly bushings which commonly introduce whine into the cabin at certain speeds.


No special tools are required for installation; only tools to remove the bushing bolt.


This insert easily pushes into the existing rear bushing to bolster an old or cracked rear differential bushing or improve rigidity on a new bushing.


For BMW 5 series, 6 series, and 7 series vehicles with chassis F01, F02, F06, F07, F10, F12, and F13. Check the listing's compatibility table for fitment.

Installation instructions:

- Lift vehicle from jack points

- Support the rear differential to remove load from the bushing bolts

- Remove the rear differential rear bushing nut and bolt

- Clean bushing to remove dirt and debris

- Push insert into bushing from the rear. Use silicone grease to aid installation. Tap with rubber mallet and 2x4 if needed.

DO NOT pry on the tool with a screwdriver or directly strike it with a hammer!

- Re-insert bushing bolt and start tightening nut

- Torque the nut to 175Nm / 129Ft-Lbs

- If reusing the nut, use thread locking agent on the bolt threads.

Fits into BMW bushing part number 33316792872. Not guaranteed to fit aftermarket bushings.
