An antique copper bottomed tin coffee pot painted by Ohio artist Lewis Hudnall (1918-1995) featuring eagles, leaf designs and shields. 10 1/2 inches tall with 7 inch diameter base.

A lifelong Daytonian, Lewis Hudnall created new works such as paintings on canvas and theorems on velvet, and redecorated antique objects, including furniture, boxes, and tinware. His distinctive style of painting included both antique-inspired decorative motifs as well as historically themed scenes. His work is highly sought after and is featured at the Ohio Decorative Arts Center as well as in museums and private collections.
