These models are from the late 1980s from a consumer promotion run by Shell petrol stations, where motorists collected tokens with each purchase of fuel, and could exchange the tokens to receive a free model car.

Often reported as being made by Maisto, the models are, in fact, marked "MC Toy" on the base.

MC Toy is a brand name used by the May Cheong company, founded by the Ngan family of Hong Kong in 1967. MC Toys have many years' experience of producing model cars, which have also been sold under other names, including Tesco in the UK.

MC Toy has undergone a number of ownership changes and in the early 1990s the brand was transitioned to become known as Maisto.

These beautiful replica vehicles are highly detailed and all feature opening doors, tilting seats and "pull back & go" action.

Excellent pre-owned condition. All models are in original boxes, which have minimal wear. Models have not been played with or displayed and are in excellent condition, with pull-back-and-go action in good working order. See photos - all photos show actual item.
