The ARMRQ shaft has evolved to provide a gentle grip and a high trajectory. The number of shafts has been increased with each model change, but this time the number of shafts has been deliberately reduced to reduce weight*, while the fibres used for the shafts have been made with a high modulus 70t pitch to maintain strength. This has enabled a lighter weight, more flexible flex, a more central kick point and a balance point closer to the head, resulting in high reproducibility and realisation of "fly and don't bend".
