Pte. Wilfred Clayton saw service in Egypt, France & his later unit - 43rd Battalion Royal Fusiliers were posted to Northern Russia, so very likely he served here also, unless he missed the bus.

The offer includes copy research : Medal Index Card, Medal Award confirming his various battalions & 1911 census, living with his family near Blackburn, Lancashire in the unhelpfully named hamlet of York.
