Pretty vintage black dress set that includes the short jacket, belt and dress. By Puritan Forever Young. I'm guessing it's from the 1960s. Semi-fitted. Skirt part flares out sort of like an A-line.
- Metal side seam zipper
- 2 hidden horizongal pockets on both sides of front below belt. Very narrow.
- Size and fabric tags are missing. I'm guessing it's a vintage large? See measurements.
- Shoulder pads
- Approximate measurements of dress taken side to side with dress flat: underarm to underarm 20"; across waist 17"; across hip area 22"; across shoulders 17"; length from shoulder to hem 47 1/2"
- Belt is approximately 35" from buckle to widest hole.
- Bolero style short jacket. Approximately 16" long from under collar to hem.
- Sleeves are not inset. They're part of the bodice.
- Under arms have seam hole and one has been repaired...rather sloppily. See pictures
I love this vintage material. Not sure what it is without a label, but it has all that crinkly noise that I associate with some old movies and cocktail dresses.
