The Mouse King is shipped within a green box as shown. it says model number 7509 on outside of box see pic. the bottom has a sticker as shown that says Erzgebirge Volkskunst Harold Schonherr 0-9375. The are two tags that are shown in pics as well. The hat on top is loose and some of its paint has chipped off see pics.
The company is Folk Art from the Erzgebirge (the Erz mountains) The owners are Erich and Herold Schonherr The GmbH just means they have established the company properly. (The label is written in old-fashioned Schrift which means script).
This was manufactured by Erzgbirge in the German Democratic Republic prior to 1990. We can not confirm the actual date of manufacture or sale other than prior to 1990. An additional number on the original box is 526/1.
