This is a powerful and incredibly stylish look from Vuarnet, and as they say, they don't make them like they used to.

While wraparounds became in Vouge at a certain time, these goggles with rounded lenses give these Vuarnet Glacier goggles their great retro look. 

The lenses are amber mineral glass lenses, known as the Vuarnet PX-4000 Skilynx. They have an anti-reflective inner coating and double gradient silver mirror filters. This highly regarded Vuarnet lens eliminates glare and reflection, improves contrast and perception of depth of field, and has long been known as an indispensable lens for perception amongst snowy mountains and glassy oceans.

The adjustable, flexible ear arms curve behind the ear for the best fit, and the leather blinkers also keep your eyes safe and protected. The glasses have a durable black nylon frame. They measure approximately 5.5" from temple to temple and the lenses are approximately 1.875" in diameter. There is a "PX Vuarnet" logo on the outside of one shoulder and the "PX" logo on the other, with "France" embossed on the inside of one arm in nylon and “028" printed on the other.

These glasses have a solid one-owner provenance and were acquired in Switzerland in the late 70s for a couple ski trips. They spent nearly all of their time since then in a drawer.
