This is a 3D Printed Lens Hood with Metal 49mm Thread.

Its suitable for lenses with standard 49mm filter thread.

Hood was designed and printed by me. It features a slightly flaired squared-off top and bottom.

The metal thread is reclaimed from a 49mm filter ( filter glass has been removed ). 

The PLA chosen for this hood is flat black and one of the best non-reflective materials I could find for 3D printing.

This hood is suitable for wide angle lenses -- 28mm focal length on 35mm film or digital full frame.

This hood *may* work on wider lenses but hasn't been tested for wider lenses.
