This is Yamaha N-500 Japan Vintage Acoustic Guitar.
Miyuki Nakajima Entry Model Adjusted.
The pegs were not genuine, and various things had been attached to them.
The back of the head was rough, the pickguard had peeled off, and the top had tanned adhesive marks from the triangular pick case.
There are marks and discoloration on the frets and on the fingerboard.
Replaced the pegs, cleaned up the rough ground and painted parts, the saddle was made with genuine octave correction, the frets were rubbed together, the upper part of the bridge was modified to adjust the string height, the pickguard was reattached with tape on both sides, there were marks on the head, top, sides, and back. There are some marks, paint deterioration, etc. (pictured), but the playability is excellent, and it looks like it'll be the perfect guitar.
Basic maintenance carried out.
Scale: 650 millimeter (25.5 inches)
Nut width: 43.5 millimeter (1.7 inches)
Grip: C-shaped rod, with plenty of room left and right.
Neck slightly uneven.
String height:
6 strings 12F2.6 millimeter (0.1 inches) 1F0.45 millimeter (.01 inches)
1 string 12F2.0 millimeter (.07 inches) 1F0.35 millimeter (.01 inches)
Saddle clearance 2.6 millimeter (0.1 inches), 2.6 millimeter (0.1 inches), 1.9 millimeter (.07 inches).
The area around the bridge is currently OK, no chatter.
In order to lower the string height, the previous owner often see things that simply say the saddle was cut to its limit.
They say it's exciting, but if there's no saddle room, it's difficult to feel the sustain.
Be sure to secure saddle clearance of 2 millimeter (.07 inches) for the 6th string and 1.5 millimeter (.05 inches) for the 1st string.
Based on the idea that the string height of the low fret is most important for an easy-to-play guitar, we adjusted the string height of the 1F to 0.45 millimeter (.01 inches) to 0.35 millimeter (.01 inches) from the 6th string side.
The 1F string height is high.
Most guitars seem to have their nut heights unadjusted.
The strings are new light gauge 0.012.
The strings are loosened.
