Scarce handstamp from the Centennial Station of Nashville, TN - from the Centennial exposition held there in 1897.  Duplex handstamp, 2 cent 1st bureau, used to Brightwood DC with backstamp and with DC American transit machine cancel; few light stain spots.  Bomar N97-01, reported used May-November 1897.  As of the last print edition of the Bomar catalog, about 40 were reported, valued at $250.  First one of these I've had.

Ohio customers pay 8% sales tax.  EBay handles collection and remittance of taxes from an increasing number of other states.  I combine shipping on won items but please aggregate things and pay in a single payment to save multiple paypal payments.

Basic domestic shipping is FREE for this item (some of my items are consigned and I do charge postage for those; please check individual items).  Over $30, I use a cardboard mailer where appropriate.  Over $50, tracking is included for domestic.  $2 shipping for international.  I use at least one current stamp on virtually all outgoing mail.  If you'd like tracking on a less expensive, you can simply select that option at the extra cost ($4.50, thanks to 2019 USPS rate changes).
