Lot of 21 pieces of sterling silver 25. Total: 46 pieces.  In picture 1 they are all laid out on a paper plate.  Also see the last pic for size-comparison to a U.S. quarter dollar.  These were acquired from someone serious enough to have acquired a rotary rock tumbler.  She passed away.

Condition:

LOT 1) Smooth, hard and slippery.  Nature or a person with a tumbler damaged all of them until they became smooth.

Not sure if all of these are natural, but if they are, they sure are colorful.  We have red speckled, orange, yellow, green, blue indigo, violet and purple.  Also ivory, sand, and dark brown.   See picture 12 for arrangement in a rainbow sequence, while others are laid out from light to dark.  If they are natural rocks, seller has never seen some of these colors in nature.

LOT 2) Arrowhead like like: craggy, sharper edges, but still hard.  Some people and/or nature broke larger rocks into smaller ones.  Someone else picked up the pieces and put them into a container. Later they carried them home.  One of these looks plastic [the aqua-colored rock among the shaper rocks], but no other one appears plastic.  Seller guesses the collector was trying to find native American artifacts, and the buyer can determine if they're actually arrow heads or not.

There's a lot of variety here.  Don't know if any are igneaous ( granite, scoria, pumice, obsidian );  or sedimentary ( sandstone, limestone, shale, conglomerate, gypsum ); or metamorphic ( marble, slate, quartzite, gneiss), but I hope someone can message me with that info.  After someone messages me with credible info, the price will be lowered dramatically.

These can be used to embiggen your collection, or for decoration.  Fish tank owners may love the colored stones. Someone into lapidary (a lapidist), or a geologist might like these.  Also jewelry-makers or interior decorators may find these useful.
