This Hornby O Gauge Clockwork Type M1 0-4-0 Locomotive, winds up fine, and runs down in ‘neutral’, but when forward or reverse is engaged, the wheels spin maybe half a turn and no more, then lock up.

The body shell is play worn, and has some rust appearing on the right hand side of the boiler (photos 10/11). No tender or key is included.

Both couplings and control levers are present. Hopefully a nice restoration project for someone. Sold for spares, repairs or restoration.
