This is a beautiful, old and very well used Yoruba tribe female ancestor figure dance wand.

This specimen has much surface patina and quite a lot of age cracks...it was exposed to the elements for a very long time.

The face of the female ancestor figure has traditional tribal facial scars.

It's mounted on a custom metal stand -- there's an old label underneath the base "Yoruba Shango"

This wonderful ceremonial object looks much better in person.

Measurements:  Length (not including stand) is 10 inches; width (elbow to elbow) is 3 inches.
