This is a Dubl Duck Goldedge Solingen Best Quality Mother of Pearl Handle (may be simulated) Straight Razor (see photos). The razor is pre-owned, but the blade appears to be more like new/old stock and may not have ever been used as near as I can tell. This razor might not be a razor you could put in your display case and represent as mint or totally original, but it would be an excellent razor to use and look at yourself.
Features:
1. The razor is 5-7/8" scales length; 1/4" thick at the top rail; 27/32" wide including top rail.
2. The shank front says, "Dubl Duck Goldedge" with the two ducks and "Peral Duck Dubl Duck Solingen Germany" with the two ducks (see photos). The blade has, "Solingen Best Quality".
3. The blade looks to be unused (see photos).
4. The scales appear to be Mother of pearl but may be simulated material (see photos) and have "Williams" in silver inset in the front scale which might indicate that they are not original, but they look good and do a good job protecting the blade. The scales have no cracks or defects that I can see (see photo).
5. The package with the razor which might not be original to this razor but is labeled "Dubl Duck Special No.1 Razor 6/8" with the two ducks (see photos).
