You are bidding on an extensive 1897 barter agreement.

The master tailor Wilhelm Kaumanns, owner of one residential building at Richmondstrasse 6 in Cologne, and the couple Carl August Frey, innkeeper, and Antonie, b. Mertens (both formerly in Cologne-Lindenthal, now living in Brühl), owner of a residential building "with courtyard, extension, rear building with shed" in Bruehl (entered in the land register, volume VI, article 274), Kamesgasse(?) 88, exchange their properties with each other.

the Brühler property (inn) will hereinafter also "Cologne Court" called; the listing of the inventory (nine rooms, schnapps casino, ballroom, kitchen, guest room resp. Restoration...) comprises 12 pages (half of the document).

Drawn up by the notary Heinrich Leo Lennartz in Brühl (employed at the Cologne Higher Regional Court) on 2. October 1897.

Scope: 24 pages (33x21cm).

-Letter from the District Court of Cologne dated 8. March 1899 that the property in Brühl, which previously belonged to Wilhelm Kaumann, was transferred to the master baker Josef Wieser in Gelsenkirchen.

-Letter Wiesbaden, 16. December 1899: "Request from Mrs. Wwe. Ernst Weyel Louise b. Schröder formerly in Brühl now in Wiesbaden for herself and her daughter Bertha Weyel to issue an enforcement clause. to issue a payment order" against Joseph Wieser as the owner of the Brühl property, who owes the widow Weyel 300 marks. With several comments from the court. scope in. 3 pages.

-Postcard from a brother of the widow Weyel. born Schröder to the notary Lennartz to advance his sister's case (dated Wiesbaden, 20. January 1900).
