INFO - RUMPELSTILZCHEN: Die allermeisten Rumpelstilzchen-Holzbilder zeigen das klassische Feuer. Der Brüder-Grimm-Zwerg tanzt darum herum, schmiedet Pläne und ist voller Vorfreude. Aber es gibt Ausnahmen. Da sehen wir die (manchmal weinende) Müllerstochter mit dem Stroh, das sie zu Gold spinnen soll. Und neben ihr das Rumpelstilzchen, das seine Hilfe anbietet. Und jedes Mal wissen will: “Was kriege ich dafür?” 

🇬🇧 INFO - RUMPELSTILTSKIN: Most of the Rumplestiltskins on wood pictures are shown with his famous fire. The Brothers Grimm’s dwarf is dancing around it, making plans and looking forward to the promised gift. But there are exceptions: There are wood pictures where we see the (sometimes crying) miller’s daughter with all the straw she’s supposed to spin to gold. Next to her we see Rumpelstiltskin (or Rumplestitskin or Rumple) offering his help. And always asking: “What’s in it for me?” (4/4)
