This vintage Sunshine Mountain Dulcimer is a rare find from a private collection. Hand Crafted in 1991, this Appalachian Mountain Dulcimer features a quilted maple body with hand-carved details. The exquisite ebony fretboard is stunning and rarely found on instruments today.

The scale length is 25 inches, and the overall length is 33 inches with a height of 2 1/2 inches and a width of 8 inches.

This dulcimer has never been played and was used for display only in my shop. The gold Gotoh tuning knobs add to the beautiful accent of the instrument. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, this handmade dulcimer is perfect for any musician looking for a unique and high-quality instrument.

I do not have a case but instrument will be securely packed for shipping.

There is a slight crack (barely visible) on both sides that has been professionally sealed and repaired. Virtually invisible, and does not affect the playability or sound whatsoever.

I closed my shop in Gatlinburg Tennessee due to Covid and am now selling exclusively online. This gives me more time for building which is what I love to do.

I have handcrafted hundreds of instruments over my 40 year career and I am now reluctantly selling some of my collection.
