The Wand Pendant
A sweet little wand pendant made from a piece of oak that was storm-damage during the autumn,. I carved the end into a point, and pyrographed a pattern of oak leaves, acorns and spirals along its length and hung it from a generous length of waxed cotton cord with an oak wood bead. It has been treated with local beeswax polish, and will have another coat before it leaves for its new home. It's about 5.5 inches/13cm from end to end. It's definitely one of a kind, as are all my wands. Oak Oak is one of our largest British trees, living for at least 600 years, it can get to immense sizes. Oak wood is very tough, and thus the oak is associated with strength and courage.

Wood for most of the items comes from my land and that of my friends and family. I collect found wood - gifts from the trees and prunings for my work. We make every attempt to reuse and recycle where-ever possible, and this includes our packaging materials (alas this is not always possible), we encourage our customers to continue to do so! All items are new and unused, I prefer not to charge magical items, leaving that for their new owners to do. All items are crafted with joy and love.
