Texas Centennial Santa Anna Plate

Fresh from a Dallas estate, this is a RARE, collectible plate commemorating the Texas Centennial from Czechoslovkia. The pattern is blue transferware on white china with gold plating on smooth edge and depicts the surrender of Santa Anna at the center. The border is decorated with images of Texas wilderness and 'Texas Under Six Flags 1836-1936'. This piece is marked, "Capture and Surrender of General Santa Anna After the Battle of San Jacinto April 21, 1836" and "MZ Altrohlau CMR Czechslovakia." The plate measures 9 5/8" across. This piece is in EXCELLENT CONDITION with NO nicks, chips, cracks, crazing or deep scratches! Under extreme scrutiny, you may notice light scattered scratches from stacking or the lightest gold wear. We have one other plate made in this collection and each is available in its own listing.
