So my husband demos older or abandoned homes to make way for new developments.

The best part is that I get to go through the old homes to try and rescue special finds, but sometimes on a rare occasion, I get the privilege to save pieces from very old homes that were in the same condition when the last owner left the home for the last time. I mean it sat like a vacant time capsule for decades and the house slowly deteriorated, like the one where I found these amazing vintage Halloween items.  So when I started looking through this particular house there wasn't much left in the main home but I could tell there was an attic we couldn't find a way up there so my husband just 'created one'(it was being torn down that next morning so my time was limited) and I get up there and oh my goodness all the different vintage holiday boxes I pulled out made my heart skip a beat. Knowing these wonderful nostalgic memories and collectible novelties that will live on in new homes.

 

So this awesome MCM Halloween card stock die-cut print of a Skeleton holding a scared Jack Ol' Lantern is in really good shape considering how many hot Texas summers they sat through.

You can still see the ten-cent stamp price tag on the back. The color is a bit faded but still has alot of life left in it.

It's a Small piece measuring 6" tall.

Most of the items I acquire are from estate sales, garage sales, and thrift stores. So, a lot of my items I will not have a history for, so they may come from a home that a smoker lived in or cats. I will do my best to smell out the sinkers and let you know any odors or visible flaws that should be addressed.
