Olympia Monica Travel Typewriter in carry case, 1970

Bought by my mother from THE WHOLESALE TYPEWRITER CO., 134 BALLARDS LANE, FINCHLEY, LONDON, N.3. on 11th April 1970 and regularly used for 30 odd years and then in a cupboard for the last 20 or so.

Also provided a slightly torn original receipt and guarantee.

Everything seems to be in working order.  I typed all the letters and symbols and they can be clearly seen on the sheet of paper.  They are though very faint, but this is because the ribbon is 20 years plus old, so very dry. 

Pretty heavy, so collection only I’m afraid.  Currently in SL9 Gerrards Cross but can be collected from HA8 Edgware or BH19 Swanage but you might have to wait a bit for the latter.  Cash on collection please.
