Never before have I come across jigsaws presented in this way. For me it is unique and has given me much pleasure.
There are two Victory Gold Boxes each containing about 450 pieces of a 900 piece jigsaw. They are labelled "A Turkish Seaport, parts 1 and 2." You will see from the photos that each has one side that is open ended and they may be joined together.
I believe them to be early examples and they are from the days when Victory used 'softer' colours. They are different from usual in that there are no figurals and there are rows of regular shaped pieces. The boxes are different as well. Gold but with a criss cross design right across them.
