This was the third of the three Patrick Troughton (2nd Doctor) annuals published in the 1960s and was was published in autumn 1969. It was the first Doctor Who annual to feature a photographic cover.

This is a decent example of this Doctor Who annual. It has no major faults but it is not a mint example. Externally there is a degree of wear. There are a few minor indentations and superficial scratches to the covers. The corners are very good with only very light bumping. Covers are bright with good colour. The spine has a bump at the bottom and a small piece of laminate is missing, but as the spine is white anyway this is not too noticeable. Otherwise the spine is in very good condition. 

Internally the pages are in excellent condition and have aged extremely well with just a little discolouration and foxing (brown spots caused by chemicals in the cheap paper used) here and there. The binding is in excellent condition, although it has weakened very slightly at the bottom of the spine but only affecting the first few pages. However, all pages are still firmly attached and they should stay that way for a long time to come. 

Not price-clipped. No missing, damaged or torn pages. No names or inscriptions, graffiti, or other unwanted pen marks. The crossword has not been attempted.

So all in all this a great example of the 1970 annual with not too many faults. One of the best examples I have seen. Possibly the best one on eBay. Finding a better example could take a while, but do please study the photos closely, just in case I have missed something.

The price reflects the condition of this example. Perfect examples have sold for over £250 on eBay before now.
