About this vehicle
This is our turn key wagon we have been working on since September of last year with over 150 hours in shop time. Please contact us for more photos/videos, we have hundreds. Listed with no reserve.
All 4 power windows function properly without delay or lag, turn signals work, wiper stalk works, all the lighting works,
tailgate stays open without any extra supported, comes with 3 keys, headliner is perfect and intact with no tears or rips. All 4 chrome door handles operate great without any excessive noise or pulling. Trailer hitch is installed for extra curricular activities. All 4 door cards are in excellent shape without any tears or rips.
The heat blows fine with no sign of a failing blowing motor or heater core, the AC is still set up for r12 and has not yet been converted to r134a. The driver seat was replaced with cloth instead of vinyl however we are including a vinyl bottom seat in excellent condition and when we come across a vinyl top we will give it to the new owner free with shipping included if necessary to make the interior matching.
Overall it is not an absolutely perfect car, but it is excellent and will drive for another half a million miles. The minor interior parts that are not perfect can be readily and easily replaced to make it perfect.
Our team has spent well over 150 hours saving this Volvo and preparing it for a new life, we have learned a lot working on this car and we are happy to pass it on to a new owner who will love and cherish it hopefully for decades to come. We have done so much to car this car as turn key as possible for the next owner.
WORK PERFORMED:
Replaced engine with a 1992 engine
Compession tested, cleaned and inspected
Painted engine block red
Transmission seals
Cleaned PCV system and replaced seals
Cam seals, crank seal, aux shaft seal,
Full timing belt kit, water pump, coolant hoses
Freshly surfaced head at the machine shop
head gasket, valve cover gasket
Spark plugs & spark plug wires,
distributor cap and rotor,
fresh oil change, fresh coolant change,
new sensors all around in the engine bay,
coolant sensor crank sensor, ignition control unit
new kick down cable and transmission pan seal
new airbox filter, new exhaust downpipe gasket
new wiper blades fitted, lubed all door hinges and locks
Downsides:
Missing the map pockets on both sides, can be purchased new - readily available
Ebrake console is mismatched, can be purchased new - readily available
There are a few minor surface rust spots that have since been cleaned (see photos)
The surface rust spots is on the driver rocker, passenger rocker, hood and windshield
There are a few tiny paint chips around the body (see the photos)
There is a 2 inch scratch located by the driver taillight (see photos)
Not all of the hardware is mounted/installed for the third row seating
There is a 2 inch rip in the side of the cloth driver seat top (we will be including a vinyl seat top)
