- Lovely vintage 1950-1970 hand facet cut glossy glass ashtray in neodymium lilac glass which reflects light beautifully from its multi-faceted surface

- Bears original paper label which from research dates it to between 1950 - 1970 - see screenshot I took from a specialist website I found called greatglass.co.uk
- Lilac neodymium glass (also known as alexandrite glass) changes colour according to different lighting conditions. The vase appears lilac in natural sunlight or yellow artificial light, and smoky blue in fluorescent/white light. This is due to the presence of neodymium oxide (Nd²O³) in the glass apparently.
