Original factory belts are difficult if not impossible to find any longer. If you are able to find them they were manufactured when the recorder was in current production so they have already aged almost as much as the ones already in your recorder. Rubber belts will dry out and become stiff from age, So, these “new old stock” belts are already drying out and becoming stiff just sitting on a shelf waiting to be purchased. When you use these “new old stock” belts you are just increasing the likely hood of needing to replace them again in a short time.

The belts we provide are “NEW” belts not old stock

These recorders employ two belts one for the capstan drive and one for the counter drive. If one of them has already failed then the other one, being just as old, is probably ready to fail as well. Since you are already disassembling the deck to replace one of them it is good practice to replace both of them at the same time.

This two belt set provides both belts you all the belts that you need to replace at one time, and at a reduced cost as opposed to purchasing them separately. This makes the entire process easier and less expensive for you.

If you are an overseas customer. We provide the shipping cost to the EBAY shipping point and then the EBAY global shipping system forwards it to you. This can cause a delay in your receiving the belts and possibly an additional shipping and import cost, that cost is determined by EBAY and we have no control over what that additional cost would be.
