Warm greetings from Japan. Thank you very much for visiting our listing.

This is Gibson L4-C is a genuine vintage guitar for sale.
I looked up the year it was made from the serial of the image in the body.
Gibson's A serial seems to be confusing, Probably it's 1958, but I can't be sure.
Probably it was made during the three years of 1958, 1959 and 1960.

About 40 years ago, It was bought a large piece of it at Aoi Musical Instruments in Kobe. Of course, it was an old guitar from the time.
At the time of purchase, the stamp sticker "1960" that the owner of the store attached to the back of the head remains intact.
I thought it was made in 1960 until I looked up the serial this time.
In any case, it is a guitar that has been made for 65 years. As you can see, it's piercing enough.

Below is the condition of the guitar.
There are no modifications after getting it.
There was no pickguard from the time.
It is a non-pickup. It is unclear whether it was attached at the beginning or not from the beginning due to this lack of knowledge.
As you can see in the image, there is a hole on the bottom side of the neck with something attached.
There is a mark on the left side of the body that looks like a crack has been repaired, but it is not noticeable. Of course, that was also from the time of purchase.
The neck is in very good condition, and I have kept it in a hard case without playing much, but it has maintained a low string height for 40 years.
The lead brae is easy to play.
The string height is 1.5 mm(0.05 inches) for the 6-string 12F and 1 mm(0.03 inches) for the 1st string 12F.
It's an old guitar, but the fingerboard is beautiful, and I don't think it's 65 years old.
The fret has a slight dent on the 2nd string 1 fret. That's about all it stands out.
The low-bodied frets at the 1-5 frets feel a little rubbed as they are. There seems to be no hindrance to playing.
The logo and mark on the head have become tasteful due to aging. Take a look at the image.
Weight is 2.3kg(5.07 lbs.). (Measured with a home scale)
The hard case is also old, the Gibson logo is disappearing, and it is not as thick and damaged as the modern case. As a result, it is light and ideal for carrying. You can still use it.
Beg seems to be a little loose on the 2nd and 3rd strings. You can tune it, but you may need to take care of it a little here. Due to my lack of knowledge, I will not touch it.
Compared to modern dreadnoughts, it is not as loud as it should be. As a result, it makes a solid withered sound.
