Antique Edwardian Matching Pair of Silver Top Salt and Pepper Shakers
Birmingham 1912 Levi & Salaman

This antique matching pair of crystal salt and pepper shakers with hallmarked sterling
silver tops, is in good vintage condition. Both lids screw on tightly. There are no chips
or cracks to the glass, however, the crystal of the pepper pot is a little dull from pepper
but may be able to be cleaned so that it shines again. Salt has blackened the inside of
its top. The hallmarks and maker's initials are a little rubbed but legible as you'd expect
from use. The matching hallmarks date the pair to Birmingham 1912, putting them in the
reign of George V. The makers' initials,'L&S' indicate the tops were produced
by Levi & Salaman. Total weight 104gm.
