Title: "Grand Duchess Quadrille"-  by Arban

Based on themes from the comic opera "The Grand Duchess of Gerolstein" by Offenbach.

An English adaptation of the opera was produced by The D`Oyly Carte opera Company,  also the producers of the popular Gilbert & Sullivan operas, in 1897 at the Savoy Theatre in London.

This item was formerly in the collection of John Cannon, the respected G&S collector and researcher who died in 2021. He left instructions that all collectors should have a chance to acquire the treasures in his collection, which will therefore be auctioned here over the next year or so by StageMemories and PaperJoys. Condition is Quite good.  The bottom edge has been cut down a little. It appears to have been removed from a bound album. There is just a little creasing, age staining and a few general signs of wear throughout. See pictures.

Dimensions : 33cm x 24cm This is large format- hence the high postage.
