If you haven’t seen this mixer before it has the unique ability to be a analogue mixer when recording into your DAW, and at the push of a button the same input channels can be switched to being individual outs straight from your DAW so you can mix and process on the desk and send the stereo mix back to your computer to record without the need for a soundcard as the glue between the mixer and computer

This is all done via the FireWire interface which connects to your computer via FireWire or ADAT light pipe in and out.
