The cast 3mm reinforced shell takes those tonal properties up a notch with greater volume potential and full tone at all dynamic levels. The shell exterior features the classic Gretsch center knurling pattern and is not plated, instead, they're treated with a lightweight clear lacquer.

Offered to celebrate Gretsch's 135th Anniversary, these limited-run snares feature hand engraved designs by Eric Sooy, as well as classic single-flanged hoops for a much more open tone than the standard snare.
