BOSTON, MASS. 1860s 1870s ~ Civil War Era CDV of a seated man with a curtain chin beard and partially balding in a nice suit with watch chain visible. This item has ink hand canceled Revenue Stamp on the back, above the stamp written in pencil is the name "LEWIS' and on the other edge along the side it says "Barry" very lightly. The photographer was WHIPPLE at 96 Washington Street, Boston. 

Measures: 2 7/16in x 4in ~ no front border ~ simple back imprint ~ This item has been trimmed down to fit an album in the period taken.
