IMPORTANT NOTE: This auction ends on the night of Monday, April 15; as I will be out of town that week, the item will ship after my return on Tuesday of the following week, April 23; please take this into account when bidding and contact me with any questions. Thanks!

Fabulous vintage figural bowl/wall plaque by Fratelli Fanciullacci, Italy, 1950s–1960s, the light-flesh-colored clay body in the form of a woman's head with open mouth, wearing a hat or kerchief accented with an impressed diamond pattern, her hair similarly textured with a series of  dashes, her neck with moriage-style dots, finished in mottled glazes of varying tones, the reverse with integral hanger, the overall dimensions approx. 6-3/4" long by 4-1/2" wide by 2" deep, with the original FF Italy label with handwritten additions (including shape number 8710). Small, very minor chip to the back of the top lock of hair at her forehead (invisible from the front and noted for strict accuracy), otherwise near fine, attractive condition. (Note that the flat bottom allows display on a flat surface as well as on a wall. Also, the white spots visible in the head covering are reflections of light in the glaze, and not chips or bare spots.)

An appealing example with plenty of personality, very scarce in this form; I was unable to locate a single other.

IMPORTANT NEW NOTE ON SHIPPING—PLEASE READ. I'm not a fan of fine print and disclaimers, but a number recent developments have contributed to likely delays in shipping:

1) Changes at the USPS have resulted in longer shipping times, particularly to more distant destinations (i.e., the south, midwest, and west). Please take this into account. I generally ship using the least expensive class that's appropriate, but I will gladly make arrangements please contact me immediately—I am happy to assist.

2) Most sellers are now required to enroll in eBay's Managed Payments program. As part of this program, eBay holds every buyer's payment for two business days before releasing it to the seller. This means that if you pay late on a Thursday night, your payment will not clear until at least Tuesday. If you pay on a Monday morning, your payment will not clear until at least Wednesday. Again, please take this into account.

In case of any issues or problems, please contact me before opening a request or dispute. As my long feedback record makes clear, I strive to provide accuracy in descriptions, great care in packaging and shipping, and excellent customer service. Contacting me directly first to resolve questions or issues greatly speeds up the process and ensures greatest satisfaction.
