G&L ASAT Deluxe Tribute Series Butterscotch Blonde 2014 Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have a G&L ASAT Deluxe Tribute Series in Butterscotch Blonde finish. Made in Indonesia in 2014, this guitar features a bolt-on neck construction comprising an Ash body, Maple neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with Nickel hardware including G&L Saddle Lock bridge and locking tuning machines. The pickups are a pair of G&L humbuckers, with an G&L AS4250C in the neck position and G&L AW4370C in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume and master tone controls, with a push/pull coil split function on the tone knob. 

The Maple neck plays very well, with the 'C' profile feeling comfortable and articulate in the hand and providing a smooth glossy surface that is easy to navigate. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 12" radius, offers a flat and consistent playing experience right the way up the register. This is enhanced by the Medium Jumbo frets which assist with bending and vibrato techniques. The single cutaway design allows for great access to the instruments highest frets, allowing the player to make the most of the entire register, whilst the belly carve body contour ensures comfort on long gigs or practice sessions. 

The duo of G&L humbuckers provide a rich variety of tonal opportunities. The neck position is warm and round, and offers crystal clarity with clean sounds. The G&L AW4370C in the bridge position is bright and snappy, with plenty of the bite required for rock lead tones, offering a harmonically saturated distortion that easily cuts through the mix. The addition of the coil split function on the tone control adds the opportunity for thinner, more traditional Telecaster sounds, cleaning up your sound right on the guitar.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall good condition. Light scratching is present to the front face, only visible under direct light from certain angles. Dents coming through the front face are present just below the D, G and B string. This could have been caused by the previous owner swapping out screws on the machine heads for some that are too long.

Neck: Overall very good condition. Very light scratching is present to the rear of the neck, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable to the mid register and can not be felt under the finger in playing position.

Body: Overall very good condition. Very light scratching is present to the front and rear face, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable to the front face lower bout. 

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
