Delivery Methods & Shipping Costs

We have made it easy for you with national flat fee shipping on all items within the Spotlight eBay Store. Delivery for Standard items is $12.99 including GST no matter how many items you buy.

Where we deliver

We can deliver to all addresses in Australia, except Post Office boxes and parcel lockers. Spotlight does not ship internationally, although orders placed by overseas customers can be delivered within Australia.

Delivery Times

For standard orders we use Australia Post which has a delivery time of between 7 - 10 business days depending on the delivery location.

Deliveries are made on week days only. Regional deliveries may take longer.

You cannot select a particular day for your order to be delivered.

Reasons for Order Delays

  • Public holidays
  • Incorrect delivery address has been provided
  • Your order has been split and sent from more than one warehouse

Split Deliveries & Multiple Consignments

Occasionally orders may be supplied from multiple warehouses. If this is the case, your order will arrive at its destination in more than one consignment. Costs associated with multiple consignments are not passed onto the customer.

Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched you'll receive an email from Spotlight containing your tracking code.If you do not receive this email and would like to obtain your tracking number, please contact us.

Multiple tracking numbers will be provided in separate email notifications where orders are supplied from multiple warehouses. Note: eBay retains only the first tracking notification for your order.

Delivery Acceptance

All orders require a signature upon home delivery. If there's no one at home to sign for the parcel, or a 'to the door' service is not available in your area, a card will be left with instructions on how to collect your order. Once your parcel has been signed for you will be responsible for any damage to, or loss of, your items.

Changing your shipping address

Please ensure you have the correct delivery address in both your eBay account and PayPal account (where applicable) before placing your order.

If you believe any details of your delivery address are incorrect, please contact us immediately and if the order hasn’t been processed we will attempt to intercept the order to change the details.

We are unable to change delivery addresses once an order is processed.

Returns & Exchanges

Items purchased from the Spotlight eBay Store may be returned to your nearest Spotlight store for an exchange or refund in line with our Return Policy, as long as a proof of purchase is present. This can be your tax invoice that was sent to you by Spotlight, PayPal or Credit Card statements.

Our in-store team will assess the items and determine whether a refund or exchange may be offered. Any refund will be provided via the same method of payment as the original purchase. If you paid for your online order through PayPal, you are required to present the card associated with your PayPal account in store, if you don't have a proof of purchase we'll offer you an exchange coupon to the value of the current price of that product.

Returns via Post

If you cannot get to a Spotlight store to return an item please contact Spotlight Customer Care.

We will

  • Email a ‘Returns Form’ and ‘eParcel’ label.

You will

  • Put the ‘Returns Form’ with the items that you are returning into a suitable parcel
  • Stick the ‘eParcel’ label to the front of the parcel
  • Take the parcel to your local Post Office. They’ll then scan the barcode and provide you with a return confirmation from Australia Post so that you’ll be able to track your return.

A refund will then occur once the returned parcel has been received and the product is assessed.

We reserve the right to charge you for any postage costs incurred for returns, should a refund or exchange be declined or if you’ve changed your mind. If you've requested an exchange of a product we’ll do our best to fulfil your request, however please note that this is subject to stock availability.

Return Policy

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced, if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and failure does not amount to a major failure.

If you have purchased an item from Spotlight and it is not of acceptable quality or does not match the description, you can return it to us. Upon assessment, Spotlight will offer a full refund, repair or replacement on most items. You must provide us with your order tax invoice or proof of purchase via PayPal or credit card statement. Any refund will be provided via the same method of payment as the original purchase.

If you don't have proof of purchase you may still be able to return your Spotlight purchase under certain conditions. After our team has assessed the condition and age of the returned goods you may qualify for a repair, exchange or gift card in lieu of cash refund.

Products for return must not have been used or damaged in any way and must be in the original packaging. Manuals, packaging and accessories must accompany all Electrical and Electronic products.

Spotlight is not obliged to accept product returns where you have changed your mind. However, if we decide, at our discretion to accept a change-of-mind return we will:

  • Only accept goods that have been returned within 30 days of purchase
  • Require proof of purchase, in the form of an Spotlight receipt, online tax invoice or proof of purchase via credit card or bank statement
  • Only accept products that are in a saleable condition (original packaging, labels, instruction manuals included)
  • Only accept a product return for products currently on range at Spotlight
  • In order to process your return we may, at our discretion, request and record your ID and personal information. Any personal information you provide will be managed in accordance with Spotlight's privacy policy.

Payment can be made by PayPal account, MasterCard or Visa.

Should you have any issues with payments, please contact PayPal's Customer Support.

We are unable to accept Spotlight Gift Cards, Spotlight Promotional Coupons, Cheques, Bank Transfers or BPay within the Spotlight eBay Store.
