Cet adaptateur vous permet de piloter vos périphériques MIDI en utilisant l'interface MPU-401 des cartes son PC équipées d'un port manette / Joystick (connecteur DB15) et compatible avec le protocole MPU-401. L'adaptateur et équipé d'un port MIDI IN DIN 5 broches pour recevoir les commandes comme par exemple un clavier maitre ou tout autre périphérique MIDI. Le port MIDI OUT sert quand a lui à transmettre des commandes MIDI à un instrument ou tout autre périphérique.
Cet adaptateur est conçu pour assurer une compatibilité à 100% entre la carte son et tous les périphérique MIDI qui peuvent y être reliés. Il est auto alimenté par la carte son.
Pour le relier au port joystick vous aurez besoin d'un câble en nappe avec connecteur IDC 16 broches femelle à DB15 male que l'on trouve aisément sur le Web. Pour les ports MIDI vous aurez besoin, selon vos usages, d'au moins 1 câble DIN 5 broche mâle-mâle.

The adapter provide a 5-pin DIN MIDI IN port for receiving commands from, for example, a MIDI keyboard or any other MIDI device. The MIDI OUT port is used to transmit MIDI commands to an instrument or other device.

To connect it to the joystick port you'll need a ribbon cable with a female IDC 16 pin to DB15 male connector, which you can easily find on the Web. For the MIDI ports, you will need at least 1 DIN 5-pin male-male cable, depending on your use.
