This is a vintage Liberty of London silk scarf; it has a printed-on label in the older Liberty logo identifying it as 'made in England, Liberty of London.'  The scarf is made of soft silk in a cream white color background, and it measures 27" square.  This has a perimeter edge again a center of the cream white, with a fantastic intricate paisley print all around. The print has orange, chartreuse green, turquoise, and blues - vibrant 1960s colors.  The print is so pretty - I took a lot of photos of it.  I love the geometries of the swirling patterns.

I have given this a quick hand wash and press, and found the fabric to be in sound condition with no holes, rips, tears, or funky odors.  It's quite soft and not brittle.  Please look at the last three photos:  I am showing that the print is visible on the back side also, and that the color is cream compared to white at the bottom.  The last photo shows a tiny mark near the logo - it faded but didn't quite disappear.  You have to look very close to see it.
