ONE (1) uber rare original vintage EAMES LA FONDA Chair with the even rarer Alexander Girard original purple melange pin check fabric (the thread composition appears to be purple, blue, and pink if you look closely, but the overriding color impression is purple).

NOTE:  THE PRICE IS FOR THE ARMSHELL ONLY.  NO BASE, NO SCREWS.

 

"Herman Miller" embossed on the bottom of the cream parchment armshell.  The Herman Miller paper label is still intact.

  

Exhibits age-appropriate wear, notably superficial surface soiling on the fabric (which can be removed with the proper cleaner) minor seat impressions (which go away in time with use), firm seat (most of the fabric upholstered chairs are more firm than the naugahyde upholstered chairs, which are injected with more cushion), as well as an embedded screw and loose screw threads, as depicted.  Selling as is and already reflected in the deeply discounted price.
