Beautiful wood grain, beautiful sound

The characteristic wooden parts of the housing are made from domestic maple wood. This part is a masterpiece created by Oak Village in Hida Takayama, which has been working with various types of wood for furniture and architecture for many years. In order to take advantage of the special solid wood, the design is designed to convey the original expression of maple and the warmth of nature. Maple wood is a wood often used in musical instruments, and it provides a faithful and natural sound to the original sound, which is advantageous for monitor sounds. Through the use of craftsmanship and carefully selected materials, we have achieved an unprecedentedly beautiful appearance and beautiful acoustics.

silk protein coating

The driver unit is equipped with a high-performance φ40mm driver unit newly developed for this machine. The diaphragm used is coated with silk protein, a product of joint research with the Gunma Prefecture Textile Industry Research Institute. This coating technology was achieved by refining traditional silk produced in Gunma Prefecture, which has a long history, using advanced technology to make it suitable for diaphragms, and turning it into a solution. By using traditional materials and new ideas, we have achieved natural and beautiful sound quality.
