This is an Original Art drawing of Lisa Simpson, featuring a great, centered, straight-on shot of everyone's favorite animated television daughter and sister (and the brains of the family)! It was done for the production of the all-time classic series The Simpsons, and is a great production drawing with an outstanding image, done in pencil and red pencil, and there is animator production numbering that likely indicates the scene this would have been prepared for. It also has her name and dialogue at the top written in pencil, which is not something you see that often, and is a really nice thing to have on a production piece. The full sheet measures approximately 12 1/2" by 10 1/2" and is standard 3-peghole animation paper (1 round, 2 rectangular). There is a fold line down the middle, but it is otherwise in excellent condition. The fold line did not really come out in the scan at all (it is to the left of Lisa), so please be aware of this. This is an outstanding Simpsons piece, and a magnificent example to own featuring one of the most beloved and famous characters in the history of animation and TV shows. The Simpsons is not just the longest-running American animated show, and the longest-running American sitcom, it is actually also the longest-running American scripted primetime TV series in history! While many people may have toys of the characters, how many actually have an original hand-drawn piece from the creation of this legendary franchise?
