Here for sale is a great 18th century sliding lid candle box. Made from pine wood with a dovetailed construction. Has paint remains of mustard and gray on the exterior, and a blue- gray paint on the underside as well as the interior. Nice double pulls are carved into the lid top end for ease of use. The box measures 9 7/8 inches long by 5 3/8 inches by 4 1/4 inches tall. Good condition with a wonderful dry surface!! Good country primitive item!
