Tight works great. Lid stays open when lifter. Small mirror has slight tarnishing. Powder puffs in great shape for the age.

Not sure if that’s a monogram on the front. Could be a J or F not sure what the entire design is.

Stamped Sterling on the back with an emblem after it. Can’t make it out. But it’s there. See photos.

Latch is tight and works as should.
