Offered here is a very nice German flour (Mehl) box made of enameled metal, sometimes called graniteware.  It mounts on a wall, but I have always displayed it on a shelf.  It is shiny and clean, both inside and out.  The purple violets add a touch of whimsy, especially if you like the color purple.  Photo #5 probably shows the artist's initial "B" and the model number.
