Warm greetings from Japan. Thank you very much for visiting our listing.

This is Epiphone Casino-N 1979 Snubbull label made by Matsumoku.
Epiphone Casino, which began in the early 1970s, is identified by the color of the label inside the f-hole, which indicates the year of manufacture.
Snubbull label: early 1970s - 1980
Beige label: 1980-1985
Brown label: 1985-1987
Based on the serial number, this machine was manufactured at the Matsumoku factory in June 1979, and is a Snubbull-labeled machine.
The black refinish paint had been roughly removed by the previous owner at the time of acquisition, leaving burn marks and blade marks on the wood surface.
After acquisition, the surface was smoothed as much as possible, and the original natural finish was restored, leaving the nuances of the deterioration that could not be removed.
The top plywood remains uneven enough to show the grain of the underlying layers of wood, and the back has burn marks that look as if they were burnt.
All original parts were removed, so GOTOH chromatic pegs, aged bridge and long swing tailpiece, Epiphone CASINO P-90 pickups, switches, pots, capacitors, wiring, etc. were done by a reputable guitar store.
The pickups are recent Epiphone Casino P-90s.
Comes with hard case, pickguard (with screws), and old Epiphone strap (never used).
This is a vintage Epiphone with Snubbull label body, which is especially popular among Japanese Epiphones and has no stress electrical parts.
We are proud to say that it has been finished with a nice touch, with the marks as a distinctive feature.
The neck looks straight.
The strings are loosened.
There are visible discoloration.
The case has signs of wear due to storage.
