This is Squier by Fender CST-45 BLK, R '72 model Stratocaster JV serial 1982-84s made in Japan.
This is a very rare JV serial of Squier by Fender's CST-45 BLK, R.
It features a large head reminiscent of the '72 model Stratocaster and a 3-point neck reminiscent of Ritchie Blackmore.
The sound is also excellent, outputting a crisp, dry sound characteristic of Strat. It has a fat and very good sound, which is hard to believe for a cost performance model at that time.
The Squier brand was also made in Japan at that time, which shows the high quality. 1 piece.
It is in surprisingly clean condition for its age.

There are some marks, but it is in beautiful condition.
There may be some discoloration or tarnishing on metal parts due to sunburn.

The neck thickness is 22 millimeter (0.8 inches), so probably it's standard or thin.
The string height is 1.8 millimeter (.07 inches) for both the 1st and 6th strings.
The truss rod is currently straight and rotates more than 90 degrees in the tightening direction.
The pegs rotate smoothly.
The case has signs of wear due to storage.
